Senior SAS Developer Consultant with design and development experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.  

5-10 years experience - Responsible for architecture, implementation, and support of Internet and Intranet services and frameworks. Possesses strong communication and documentation skills and Internet knowledge sufficient to Evaluate, architect, implement, and support Intranet and Internet services, employees access to Internet resources, and Internet delivery of bank products and services.  Architect, administer, and support banks Internet Security Infrastructure. Perform hardware and software installation and configuration for supported systems.  Perform system capacity planning with regularly scheduled detailed reporting.  Conduct performance monitoring and provide appropriate system tuning to guarantee responsive system performance. Develop and implement server Disaster Recovery plans in accordance with banks Business Impact Analysis. Document configuration and maintenance procedures for Internet and Intranet systems. Knowledgeable of the following technologies:
Web Server Administration and configuration (Netscape and MS IIS), Unix System Administration and configuration (Sun, HP and AIX), MS Windows NT System Administration, Firewall Administration (Checkpoint, Raptor and Gauntlet), Shell Scripting, Perl, Java, Proxy Services, MS Site Server, Active Server Pages, ActiveX, JavaScript and VBScript, TCP/IP, SNA and IPX, MQSeries, DNS, SNMP, SMTP, SSH, HTML and XML.

Preferred Skills/Experience

 -Experience with the inherited DataFlux Data Management Studio

-Experience integrating Apache Hadoop with SAS Datasets

Integration Studio and DataFlux Data Management Studio

-Perform any and all functions of the Systems and Data analyst as required to meet corporate commitments

-Ability to interact with Project Managers, Data Analysts and report day-to-day reporting responsibilities

-Develop SAS programs to create non-standard data files, specifically those written in flat files, or from source systems and ability to automate in SAS Batch cycles and -maintain documentation

-Assist with orientation and training of systems analysts and Data Management /project management personnel as determined by management.
