Job Description: Talent Sourcer
  • Education Requirements: HS Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Years of Related Experience: 5-10 Years.
  • Travel Requirements: 25%.
  • Age Requirement: 18+.
  • Potential Feeder Positions: Corporate Recruiter.
  • Potential Future Positions: Director Talent Acquisition.
 
Job Summary:
  • Provides high quality candidate sourcing support via current, best-in-class techniques and methodology as well as direct recruiting tactics to attract passive candidates to SHC.Incumbent will be accountable for the development of sourcing strategies that align with the needs of the business. Responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers in the recruiting process as well as pre-qualifying candidates for open requisitions.Part of a cross-functional talent acquisition team, demonstrates a consistent sense of urgency, strong communication skills and strong selling skills. Aligns sourcing strategy with AAP goals to insure diversity in key areas.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Works with the recruiters and talent consultants to develop effective sourcing strategies to reduce reliance on RPO, and 3rd party agencies.
  • Can attract and find the right candidates for each position using effective sourcing techniques and the ability to establish rapport with potential candidates.
  • Is able to identify and articulate the qualifications, strengths, and opportunities of candidates to hiring managers and talent consultants.
  • Interface with candidates via phone and email and face to face when applicable.
  • Provide exceptional candidate care and continuous follow-up to all candidates in the pipeline for business opening.
  • Sell candidates on opportunities at SHC and works with candidates to overcome objections.
  • Commits to quality conversations, responds quickly to questions from candidates.
  • Clearly articulates the company's EVP and business strategy to prospective candidates.
  • Builds a network and maintains awareness of top prospective candidates for future openings.
  • Conducts talent mapping of companies SHC is interested in recruiting from.
  • Recruits passive candidates and obtains referrals for future reference.
  • Uses all social media sites to locate talent.
  • Works to develop a customized approach to address each lead explaining the work environment and total rewards package.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Required Skills:
  • Experience sourcing and recruiting, interviewing and assessing management candidates.
  • Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • ATS system experience (BrassRing or Taleo preferred) CRM system experience Cluen
  • Strong Marketing/Sales skills.
  • Effective verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Intermediate or above Word and Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years direct recruitment experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of popular Job boards and resume search sites.
  • Extensive experience in Cold Calling with demonstrated results.

  • AIRS Certified.
  • Certified Internet Recruiter.
  • OFCCP Recruitment.
  • Agency Recruitment/3rd party.
