Position: (73585) Desktop Analyst
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 3 Months
The technician must be able to work with minimum supervision on regular day shift performing advanced hardware and software desk side support.
Will be responsible for software install and repair, imaging and virus remediation, installation and configuration of specific departmental software applications, hardware diagnosis and warranty support requests, staging of equipment, installation, move, add and change activity.
Technician will manage ticket queue and be responsible for end to end service incident remediation driving all tickets to completion and entering complete service status and activity using Service Request Management System (SRMS) call tracking system and quality assurance check lists.
Technician must have strong interpersonal communication skills, be able to work with all levels of users and management including VIP's, and interface with other campus CE's.
Technician must be familiar with wired and wireless network connectivity and mapping of network shares.
Must be A+ certified.
